Course units
Charity Finance and Accounting Provides students with a knowledge of basic concepts and practices in accounting, an understanding of charity accounting requirements, and an appreciation of good practice in charity financial accounting and reporting, law for charities and not-for-profit. Charity Law and Administration Non-law professionals working for charities and not-for-profit organisations need to be highly law-aware. They are required to understand the general legal environment of a business, the relationship between law and policy and the particular way in which law delineates their specific organisations and activities. This unit offers high quality legal education designed to meet that need.
Charity Management and Governance
This module introduces policy and management issues in the sector. It also provides an understanding of the general environment of the sector and provides appropriate tools and techniques to analyse the sector.
