Living on campus

The University has 1,400 single study bedrooms located across four residential buildings offering a variety of standard and en-suite accommodation. All of the University’s residences are located within a ten minute walk of the main Southwark campus.

Living in an LSBU residence provides you with a base very close to where you will be studying. Our residences are ideally placed for public transport connections, all having an underground station approximately five minutes walk away. Their location allows easy access to local attractions such as the Southbank arts complex, the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and the London Eye. London’s West End is only three stops away on the underground.

Accommodation Office

Our dedicated Accommodation Office looks after the residences, and can also help you find private accommodation. Looking for accommodation in the private rented sector can be a daunting task especially if it is the first time and you are unsure where to start. Therefore the Accommodation Office has a number of information leaflets available to assist students who require private accommodation, all of which are available either by mail, email, intranet and for collection from the Accommodation Office, and a few are available to download.

The Accommodation Office also provides access to a number of lists and links to assist you in finding private accommodation.
