Course description
A number of pathways are accessible within the framework of this course. These are prescribed or individually negotiated and designed to meet students’ individual, professional and personal academic development needs.
The course structure is flexible, allowing students to study at their own pace. The course aims to ensure that students have a sound theoretical evidencebased knowledge that can be applied to the work environment.
Career opportunities
Employment prospects are excellent. Successful students frequently attain promotion in their clinical posts.
Typical background of applicant
Students are typically qualified staff working in specialist clinical areas at band five or six, seeking to expand their clinical and academic skills in a chosen clinical area.
Additional notes
The course framework offers a flexible approach to the sequence and time frame in which units can be taken. This is negotiated on an individual basis with the pathway advisors.
