Tuition Fees and Finance

We know that concerns about financing your course play a role in your decision to study at university – which is why we try and keep things as simple as possible and make sure our financial support helps you when you need it most.

For the purpose of tuition fee payment, students are split into one of three categories: Home/UK Students, EU Students or International/Overseas Students. If you are not sure which category you fall into, visit www.ukcisa.org.uk for more information.

Fees are payable for each academic year. If you qualify as an EU student you will normally be eligible to pay the Home rate fee.

How much will it cost?

There are two main costs to consider when thinking about studying at university – tuition fees and living expenses. Your living expenses cover things like accommodation, travel, food, entertainment and books. We recommend that you budget at least £8,000 per year to cover your living expenses. Tuition fees and costs

Tuition fees are reviewed annually and the University reserves the right to change the rates between one academic year and the next. Tuition fees are due at the start of each academic year during the course and are not normally refunded.

A scheme exists to allow payment in a small number of instalments for self funding students. If tuition and/ or registration fees are to be paid by a sponsor, written confirmation must be produced at enrolment. A student who fails to pay their fees will not be able to continue their studies.

At the time of this prospectus being printed the figures for courses commencing in 2009-10 were not available.
