Course units
– Multisensory E-learning and Dyslexia Support

Course description

This unit enables experienced and qualified practitioners to develop a learning styles approach to the language and learning skills development of dyslexic students through individualised combinations of technology and software. It develops the key content and practical methodology of the ADDS course, promoting e-learning strategies in relation to learners’ strengths and difficulties with learning. It also extends the knowledge of current theory and practice in diagnosing and teaching dyslexic adults in line with the postgraduate certificate in ADDS. It gives students opportunities to develop their skills as teachers and reflect on their own practice. Students need to commit themselves to substantial self managed study to improve their own e-learning skills.
