Making your Application

Some professional qualifications have specific application forms which you will need to complete. As these courses qualify you to practice in the UK, applicants from outside the EU, who require a permit to work in the UK, would not normally be considered for entry. MA/PgDip Social Work

Applications are made online through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Services (UCAS). Visit their website at www.ucas.ac.uk. You may call them on 0870 112211 if you need further assistance.

PGCE Education

Applications are made online through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR): www.gttr.ac.uk, 0870 1122205. Please note that students from outside the EU are not eligible for financial assistance towards their fees and they will not receive a bursary.

PgDip Legal Studies

Applications for full-time study are made through the Central Applications Board: www.lawcabs.ac.uk, 01483 451080.

When to make your application

Applications can be made at any time up until the start of the course, however an early application is advisable. It is not necessary to wait until the results of qualifying exams are known as provisional places can be offered to suitable applicants, pending their exam results.
