JOHN ADAMS LAUNCHES NEW SCOTLAND YARD PRODUCTS
UK-based toy and games company John Adams is the first company to launch a range of products
using the New Scotland Yard brand, from licensor - The Metropolitan Police Service.
The initial product launch arising from the new collaboration will be the New Scot-
land Yard Forensics Kit – a detailed and realistic set for children of ages ten and up
which offers a hands-on introduction into the fascinating world of a Crime Scene
Examiner.
The Forensics Kit, which is being launched into the UK toy market in August, has been
developed hand in hand with real life New Scotland Yard Crime Scene Examiners and
is one of the most sophisticated sets of its kind available. Facilities of the kit include
finger printing, hair and fibre testing, impression reveals, plus four detailed
‘unsolved crimes’ to work upon.
Simon Pilkington of John Adams said of the partnership, “It is a
real coup and an honour to be the first brand licensing partner
with the Metropolitan Police Service on the New Scotland Yard
brand and we are looking forward to launching the Forensics Kit to
the toy and gift market. Due to the success of crime scene investiga-
tion TV programs, interest in this type of forensics kit for children has
never been greater – and to be able to partner with such a distinguished brand as
New Scotland Yard has added additional depth to the kit’s quality and realism, as well as being a world-famous brand name
which will undoubtedly add kudos and heightened interest.”
