Financial Accounting Research topics include: Accounting for goodwill; Accounting for joint ventures; The role of financial reporting in capital markets; Accounting conservatism.
Management Accounting and Control Research topics include: Performance measurement; The effects of management control systems on product innovation.
Market-based Accounting Research Research topics include: Accounting-based valuation; Disclosure practices, enforcement of accounting standards, and analysts’ forecast accuracy.
Corporate Finance Research topics include: Payout, debt and investment policies; Strategic capital budgeting: asset replacement under market uncertainty; Mergers and acquisitions; Capital structure and product market competition.
Asset Pricing, Capital Markets and Market Microstructure Research topics include: Factor models; Microstructure.
Derivatives and Risk Management Research topics include: Alternative market structures for derivatives; The impact of the introduction of the Euro on Foreign Exchange Rate Risk Exposure; Risk management with derivatives by dealers and market quality in government bond markets; Risk management with derivatives in incomplete capital markets.
International Finance Research topics include: Foreign exchange risk management in incomplete capital markets; International portfolio investment: theory, evidence, and institutional framework; Currency volatility.
