Lancaster Sociology is one of the top Sociology departments in the
UK and includes some of the foremost sociologists in Europe. Our
staff are at the international forefront of research and publishing.
Half the staff in the Department are Professors promoted because of

Sociology departments in the UK, we pride ourselves on pushing social
