We admit a maximum of 75 students to the MBA, allowing a high
level of interaction between students and faculty. Entry is very
competitive, with about ten applications for each place on the course.
The Lancaster MBA moves from the compulsory modules of the
first term towards more and more choice for the individual as the
year progresses. Alongside the taught modules, students will
engage in three consultancy challenges. In the first term this will
be with a start-up company, progressing to a larger enterprise in

the second term, and culminating in a three month individual
consultancy-style project in the Summer for a major corporate
client. The programme thus offers a powerful blend of general
and specialist, theory and practice.
An integral part of the MBA is the Mindful Manager module which
allows you to reflect on both individual and collective behaviour.
