The Department of Psychology has a lively research culture and an
outstanding reputation for research in several areas of psychology,
which are outlined more fully below. Postgraduate students are
encouraged to participate in all of our research activities and
seminars. We aim to provide high-quality supervisory support and
to ensure that research students have a good range of facilities and
equipment. We offer an interesting range of training courses for
research students. Regular social activities are an important part of
