Follow-on Studies with appropriate professional experience can become full Chartered Members.
A variety of options is available for successful graduates to proceed to Bachelor
of Science (honours) in Construction Management courses in GMIT or other Post-graduate Studies
institutes of technology or universities in Ireland and elsewhere. GMIT honours (level 8) qualifications are recognised world-wide for post-
graduate study.

Recognition by professional bodies
Graduates are exempted from Levels 1 & 2 of the Chartered Institute of
Building (CIOB) Educational Framework. Graduates can gain full CIOB
exemption (eligible for ICIOB) by completing a further 60 ECTS credits.
