Introduction to
GMIT Letterfrack
Students of all programmes have performed at a very high
level nationally, and this is reflected in the relative success in
student competitions. Last year a graduate of GMIT
Letterfrack represented Ireland in the World Skills
Competition in Japan, having won the National
Apprenticeship for Cabinetmaking in Ireland. Two GMIT
Letterfrack students came first and second in the Habitat
House and Home Student Designer of the Year Awards and
another student was featured on the TG4 production
Comórtas Ceirdre (Craftsperson of the Year).
