Every customer is offered a free post- installation visit to demonstrate how to use their new appliance correctly and VLJ experts will even come prepared with kindling and logs ready for the first burning!
As with many small works projects, there is an element of safety to be considered and that is why the lining of chimneys, building of fireplaces and the installation of stoves are all covered by building regulations and an application to Building Control at the Planning and Environment Department. However, by using a HETAS registered engineer, you are sure to be using a competent person who can self certify and supply a certificate of compliance for the
project without you having to make an application for permission to the Planning & Environment Department.
