Business Development & Marketing
OMBD assists minority and emerging businesses
develop customized marketing strategies and
identify resources. Business assistance is also
provided to community development groups
targeting minority communities.
New Businesses Registered
OMBD registered 155 new businesses during FY 2007. One hundred and twenty-
two new businesses were registered during FY 2006. This represents a 27 percent
increase over the previous fiscal year.
