Management & Technical Assistance
Individuals interested in starting a business,
buying a business, or expanding an existing
business often need technical consultation.
OMBD’s economic consultants provide counseling
regarding strategic planning, structuring
financial plans, preparing loan applications and
guidance for writing business plans.
The Office of Minority Business Development sponsored 40 technical assistance
and training activities throughout the year on a variety of topics and at various
locations. Overall, 3,598 entrepreneurs were assisted. Three of the technical
assistance and training activities were taught in Spanish.
