Why IGE will get your business moving
The International Gaming Expo, taking place at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre across 26-28 January, is all set to provide gaming
professionals from all over the world with all the necessary tools they require to get 2010 off to the best possible start. A comprehensive
and cosmopolitan line-up of 400 of the world’s most respected gaming suppliers drawn from 50 countries will be complemented by a
plethora of expert analysis and debate, high profi le product launches, social networking opportunities and a vast spread of ‘total gaming
solutions’, the like of which has never been seen previously in London.
The land-based casino sector will be strongly represented on and off the show fl oor with half of the confi rmed exhibitors parading new
products, systems, services and innovative concepts specifi cally for the traditional casino arena.
Elsewhere on the show fl oor visitors will discover myriad creative ideas from specialists drawn from every strand of the broader gaming and
wagering community: low-stake high volume gaming, server-based gaming and interactive video lotteries, traditional lotteries, bingo, remote
gaming and sports betting in all forms – online, offl ine and virtual.
Huge international participation makes IGE unique and unmissable
“It’s the sheer breadth of international participation that makes IGE unique,” explained Julian Graves, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming.
“With around 70 per cent of exhibitors drawn from outside the home market, it is a pure refl ection of gaming without borders, a true
United Nations of entertainment where manufacturers, distributors and operators stand side-by-side to develop new, exciting forms of
profi table play delivered to an expansive audience in ever more diverse venues and channels.”
He added: “The ability to bring together such a geographically and culturally diverse collection of companies at a single venue is the most
persuasive argument to explain IGE’s importance to the international casino community as the premier venue to source new products and
services that will make a commercial difference.”
We’ve got it covered – speak to the leading casino players in every possible product category
The exhibitor line-up reads like a who’s who in casino supplies, with everyone and everything a casino needs on the list. IGE plays host to
every leading brand in the development of slots, live gaming, multi-player games, terminals and kiosks, management systems, cash handling,
security, signage, furnishings and interior design, components, consulting and much, much more. Visitors can expect plenty of innovation
from the main players with the 14 biggest showcases spanning displays in excess of 200 square metres: Novomatic – Austrian Gaming
Industries, IGT-Europe, WMS Gaming, TCSJohnHuxley, Atronic International, Amatic Industries, APEX Gaming, Aristocrat Technologies,
Bally Technologies, Gold Club, Elektroncek, Konami Gaming, Gaming Partners International and Unidesa. Three of these – WMS, Bally and
Konami – have also raised the stakes by expanding their IGE presence compared with 2009.
New perspectives provided by 33 land-based debutants
Regular visitors to IGE will already be aware of the size and scope of the immense range of products and services on offer from Earls
Court exhibitors. The 2010 show will boast an even greater selection, boosted by the arrival of 33 fi rst-time exhibitors drawn from 18
countries, bringing with them a whole host of fresh ideas to benefi t the operator’s bottom line. The casino debutants, whose combined
exhibit space will total more than 1,000 square metres, join a further 53 remote gaming specialists also making their IGE maiden
appearance on the show fl oor.
Get your business ahead of the market courtesy of the latest industry trends and insight
Whilst IGE retains its strong commercial ethic, an expo for doing serious business, this year’s show will also provide a feast of knowledge-building
events. The European Casino Association will stage its second International Casino Conference (www.internationalcasinoconference.co.uk), a
challenging symposium debating key industry issues, on the eve of the show. Also taking place throughout the three days of the exhibition
will be an extensive programme of free seminars, steered by industry leaders and experts in the fi eld of operations, legislation, compliance
and social responsibility covering casino, betting, remote gaming and low stake gaming markets. On the fl oor, showcase presentations will
give visitors the opportunity to witness key product launches and briefi ngs as exhibitors take turns at 30-minute presentation slots on IGE’s
Innovation Showcase platform.
Julian Graves remarked: “The presence of the global industry’s key originators of gaming concepts, coupled with a greater diversity of
suppliers at this year’s IGE will ensure that visitors attending Earls Court will be simply spoilt for choice when it comes to planning their 2010
product purchasing, identifying new trends, keeping abreast of peers’ activities and discovering unique opportunities to gain a competitive
edge over the coming 12 months.”
