TOTAL Art Licensing
The Big News
As Viv looks back over the last 12 months, she is reminded of the book “All I Need to
Know I Learned in Kindergarten,” by Robert Fulgrum. Be happy and play nice, if you borrow
something put it back where you found it, share, if you jump you might want to have a spotter,
no biting, don’t run with scissors for goodness sake, and when you need help, ask. So if we en-
courage kids to explore and have fun then as adults we too must find what we love and do what
makes us happy. Viv loves to create, so it is no surprise that she
passionately pursues her art in its many forms. And in the spirit
of kindergarten, when she is uncertain, she raises her hand.
Viv is never short of ideas or projects. And just when she feels
the last great design has emerged from her soul, new art happens
and it makes her smile. Self motivated, Viv works tirelessly to
help manufacturers address the needs presented by retailers. Since these needs
aren’t always clear, she falls back on what she knows; listen, research every-
where, paint often, and, contrary to kindergarten, don’t always stay with the
group.
Most memorable for Viv this year was attending the Craft and Hobby
Show in January in Anaheim. She met with new and existing clients, and at-
tended workshops. Her creative voice is evolving through new media, styles,
textures and palettes. Complimenting her curiosity is a lifestyle that resembles
that of a kindergartner. She loves to dress up, play with friends, laugh, talk on
the phone, stay up late, watch movies, climb trees, swim and go on road trips.
She is never bored, and would vote ‘yes’ for more hours in the day.
Following the CHA Show, Viv attended the Art and Framers show in
Vegas where she officially met with Michael Singleton of Sagebrush
Fine Art and Licensing. So here’s the big news: due to a variety
of successful projects in the past and shared goals, Viv and
Sagebrush are pleased to announce the beginning of a partnership. Sagebrush’s Licensing
Design team will assume the representation of the Viv brand, and Viv will have the oppor-
tunity to invest more of her energy into what she does best, being creative.
As we find ourselves facing an unpredictable future, you will be able to rely on one thing,
Viv and Sagebrush’s priority: to deliver what you ask for, when you need it, with an established
history of the Viv Brand’s marketing success.
Please come visit us at SURTEX 2009 Booth 413, where Viv and Deana Peat, the Sagebrush
