This site takes its name from the vast nature reserve of
the Camargue, an area famous for its horses, bulls and
flamingoes. It is close to the old walled city of Aigues-
Mortes, from which the Crusaders set forth during
the 13th Century. Explore this historic area or relax on
the nearby beaches at Le Grau-du-Roi and La Grande
Motte, with a shuttle bus from the site in high season.
