Regular ICE exhibitor Euro Games Technology of Sofia, Bulgaria, said the 2012 edition of the show was busier and better attended than ever.
“The atmosphere at the
show was entertaining and at the same time business- oriented,”
said Marco
Kmetic, the company’s Slovenia market representa- tive. “EGT’s booth attracted great attention with its origi- nal design, and most of all with the wide range of brand new products which were constantly surrounded by interested visitors eager to see and test the latest tech- nology exhibited at the stand of the company.” At ICE 2012 the group pre- sented its latest innovation, the ergonomic P-22/22 cabinet from the Premier
Series of gaming products. Designed by EGT, the P- 22/22 cabinet is the result of the company’s ten years of experience in combination with the latest develop- ments in the field of ergonomics.
“By designing this
product EGT has taken into consideration different physical and psychological factors and have achieved perfection even in the slight- est details,” Kmetic said. “To make things even better, the software for P-22/22 is run by the technologically advanced Exciter II plat- form, which allows brilliant graphics quality and faster performance. The Premier Series combination is com- pleted by a multi-game with 20 attractive games - the Premier Multi-1. What’s more, every subsequent multi-game will contain at least 40 games.”
Another brand new
product showcased by EGT at the ICE expo was the United Mystery Jackpot System. “This system proves to be a really valuable asset for every casino because of its multi-functionality,” said Kmetic. “The United Mystery Jackpot System can be con- nected to more than 100 machines of any brand and features three levels of jackpot.” In terms of multi-player solutions, EGT introduced the brand new Stork Termi- nal, which demonstrates a new, more elegant, practical and flexible design com- bined with high-quality tech-
nology and user friendliness in every respect. The company also heralded the success of other new prod- ucts like the attractive Cat4Cash Progressive Jackpot System and the Vega Vision+ Cabinets, also com- patible with a wide range of P-Series multi-game prod- ucts in combination with the Exciter II platform. “We at EGT are proud of the company’s fast interna- tional growth and proven top performance, not only regarding the design and quality of the products, but also regarding the company’s reliability as a partner,” said Kmetic.
Concerning the company’s plans for 2012, Stanislav Stanev, deputy director of sales and market- ing, added: “EGT is already a well known brand not only on the European market but also in Asia and South America. We will do our best to further extend our posi- tion by launching new prod- ucts and penetrating new markets. My expectations for the next ICE Show in the ExCeL Exhibition Centre are that it will meet the demands of the gaming companies even better and will be even more attractive and prof- itable for both exhibitors and visitors.”

The last year has been one of strong progress and growth for the Italian gaming machine manufacturer Magic Dreams with important installations notably in Monte Carlo.
The company has a new energy
about it and is founding its future on a series of distinct games of quality with unique features, includ- ing a multi jackpot concept that has made its way from its Double Draw Poker into other products, including the thundering High Voltage, which saw two new base- game titles launched at the show. Marketing and product manager
Diana Parasmo said: “High Voltage features a five-plus-one jackpot, where five levels are game-related standalone progressives that can be won during the interactive bonus. The top level is a linked jackpot across all the machines in the bank, or thanks to SAS function- ality, across the game floor or in a wide area network.” She continued: “It really answers
to different player demands.” Appearing for the first time at
ICE was the Time Voyager linked jackpot: in its three base-game titles, Back to Jurassic, Back to Rome and Back to Rinascimento, it takes players on a trip to the past offering suspense, dynamic interactivity and 3D visual effects to enchant players. When the jackpot bonus hits, players are catapulted into the future to try and win big. Both systems were presented in

Magic Dreams’ brand new WOW upright cabinet. “Its modern, cutting-edge profile has been greeted with great enthu- siasm and true interest,” said Parasmo. “WOW has been designed to be the first emotional trigger on the slot floor: its ergonomic struc- ture and dazzling lighting effects aim to catch the players even before they start to play. It’s an unprece- dented mix of innovation and tech- nology that offers the purest gaming experience that players can have.”
The company was also showing
its excellent Double Draw Poker game along with its Poker Boost
Jackpot, featuring a four-level pro- gressive jackpot plus one level of a mystery jackpot. “Players really like the frequency with which the mystery jackpot hits, while at the same time aiming for the higher wins available through the progressive,” said Parasmo. General manager of Magic
Dreams Luca Gerardini said: “We are very proud of the high quality level we have achieved thanks to the exceptional investments we’ve made in planning for a bright future. We’ve recently expanded our pres- ence into Africa thanks to the excel- lent performance that our Double Draw Poker generates; we now plan to achieve great targets in this area. We are also planning to enter in the Asian market, not just mean Macau but also all surrounding countries. Of course, Europe and South America are always the markets where our activity is well estab- lished, for these territories our intention is to strengthen and con- solidate our position by offering innovation, f lexibility and great dynamism.”

Quixant’s new product range, including the still under-wraps next genera- tion AMD Fusion chip- based gaming controller, which was being shown to select customers ahead of the formal launch of the chipset by AMD. “We’ve barely had time
to breathe,” said manag- ing director Nick Jarmany. “ICE has been an excellent show for us. Our unique position as the only Elite member of the AMD Fusion Partner Program, means we have priority in receiving advance access to new AMD products, which enables us to deliver finished gaming products before any of our competitors. Our aim is to use the very latest chipset technology to give our customers more powerful products at a lower price point.”
Quixant’s first genera- tion of AMD Fusion- powered gaming
computers is the QXi-200, which delivers high per- formance graphics at low power, has already been a great success for the company.
“Next generation
Fusion technology deliv- ers multi-screen perform- ance never before seen on an integrated gaming board, and all without the need for problematic and expensive plug in graphics cards,” said sales director Gary Mullins. “This is coupled on-board with the latest discrete graphics technology that works in harmony with the Fusion APU graphics to provide support for more than six simultaneous monitors and exceptional levels of performance.”
