Why do it?
• To encourage decision making on whether to pass
to a team mate or take on an opponent
• To e n c o u r a g e q u i c k r e a c t i o n s
• To experience different playing roles in a short
space of time
hoW to do it?
• T h e G K p l a y s t h e b a l l t o o n e o f t h e t h r e e
outfield players.
• The first player to receive the ball calls out the
name of the player that will join them in attack. The
other player becomes the defender in the
following 2 v 1
• Change the GK after every 5 attacks
don’t just copy it, improve it.
• Award points for goals (5), shots on target (3), shots off
target (1) for the attacking players and for clean sheet (5) for
the defender and GK.
• A goal scored after a ‘one-two’ is worth 2 goals.
