Heinz Soyer on the ball
Heinz Soyer says that its new and innovative KSV-12 SOYER Ball Welding System creates
new possibilities for both design and application.
Besides standard weld studs and pin-shaped weld fasteners, it is also possible to fully
automatically feed steel and stainless steel balls from 2 – 12mm in diameter into hand-held
welding guns or stationary welding heads and to reliably weld them onto metallic work pieces.
“The KSV-12 SOYER Ball Welding System offers major user benefits and opens up new fields
of application for the entire metalworking industry.“
Adhere
launches
premier
cyanoacrylate
Intertronics has announced a
new range of professional grade
cyanoacrylate “instant”
adhesives under its Adhere
brand.
Curing at room temperature in
seconds, Intertronics says the new
range provides excellent bond
strength on a wide range of
substrates including rubber,
plastics, metal, wood, leather,
ceramics, ferrites, stone, cork,
glass, composites and paper.
The range includes surface-
insensitive, fast cure, low odour
and low blooming formulations.
Cyanoacrylate adhesives (CA’s)
are known generically as
“superglues” or “instant
adhesives” and are extensively
used in all manner of industrial
applications.
Adhere cyanoacrylate single
component systems require no
mixing or heating and parts being
bonded do not need clamping.
They are also solvent free, achieve
high tensile and shear strengths
and have a long shelf life.
The range includes a rubber
toughened “flexible formulation”,
an activator for even faster cures,
and a primer which facilitates
bonding of difficult to bond
plastics such as polypropylene,
polyethylene or silicone rubber –
even PTFE.
