AquAFIL ASIA PACIFIC,
THAILAND
ocated within the factory premises,
Aquafil’s new office in Rayong province
may be modest in size, but it scores
high in terms of creating a lasting visual
impact.
The office, Aquafil’s first in Thailand, was
designed to be a cosy yet functional space
for a small team, with nooks for meetings and discussions.
Minimalist furniture characterised by clean lines and neutral
colours dominate. In addition to enhancing the stylish elegance
of the space, this acts as a backdrop for the main design
element in the waiting area – an entire wall of yarn in bright,
eye-catching colours.
As a leading producer of yarn, specifically Nylon 6, it is only
natural that the company’s product is cleverly incorporated to
play a key role in the décor. More importantly, it serves as a
“show wall”, giving customers a glimpse into the wide selection
of yarn the company offers.
The choice of carpet, InterfaceFLOR’s Syncopation™ and
1968™, adds the finishing touches. The carpets are vibrant in
colour and have an interesting textural effect, which serve to
both complement and act as a contrast to the “show wall” to
great effect. – Lalitha Naidu
