FInISH UP: When your raft captains
recognize it’s time to take out, they can
guide their rafts to the river access.
Remove all items from the rafts before
pulling them out to prevent damage to
the rafts. Deflate the rafts and send your
gear return vehicle(s) on their way, and
fill up as many carpool vehicles as needed
to get everyone back to their cars left
at the put-in spot.
BE SaFE: Know the rules and regulations
for floating on the Bow, especially for
safety. PFDs are mandatory. Rafts should
never be tied together or to other things as
this creates hazards and is one of the main
causes of rafting deaths in Calgary. Know
what the weir is, where it is, and avoid it!
