INCLUSIvE RECREATION SERvICES
Canton Leisure Services Department is committed to an inclusive approach to recreation. Inclusive recreation is individuals with and
without disabilities participating in recreational activities together. In order for individuals with disabilities to participate as fully as possible,
reasonable accommodations are provided. Reasonable accommodations are individualized techniques and resources used to enhance
program participation without fundamentally altering a program. Inclusion makes it possible for individuals to choose from the vast array
of programs offered by Canton Leisure Services.
HOW TO REqUEST REASONAbLE ACCOMMOdATION:
1. Written notification is required two weeks prior to the registration deadline for each program.
In some cases reasonable accommodation may take longer.
2. The Requester will be contacted within four business days by appropriate staff.
