ETO, but it needed saying as

the long running Hustler
Hollywood UK saga.
LFP Inc released a brief
statement confirming that it
had terminated its licensing
agreement with Hustler
Hollywood UK, which was run
by Andrew Joseph. The
statement said that the UK
firm had failed to pay the
required licensing fees and

that the US operation had:
“commenced formal
arbitration proceedings
against their former licensees
seeking money damages,
along with permanent
injunctions prohibiting each
former licensee from the
unauthorised use of LFP’s
trademarks, including the
Hustler brand name.”
It wasn’t all bad news

though, as LFP implied that
other parties had expressed

an interest in acquiring the
licence to operate in the UK.
Apollo was the other big
name on the front page,
reporting that the reaction to
its Club Liberty promotion,
revealed the previous month,
had exceeded all its
expectations. “When the April
issue of ETO hit people’s
letterbox, the phones in the
Apollo office started to ring
off the hook,” the company’s
marketing manager enthused.
“We knew that the offer
would be a success but even
we were taken aback by the
volume of people wanting to
