Pollokshields delivers. With the areas around Darnley Street and
Albert Drive the hub of Glasgow’s Asian community, you can be
sure any Indian or Pakistani restaurants here will be authentic.
Café Serena dishes up some of the best Pakistani food in the
city from its halal kitchen.
If your tastes are more European, the area boasts at least two
top notch Italians, Roma Mia and L’Aragosta. Both have an
excellent reputation for their food and warm welcome. Being a
mere stones throw from Pollokshields East train station, diners
travel far and wide for Roma Mia’s delicious parmigiana and
L’Aragosta’s monthly six courses dinners are well worth getting
your name down for.
