This mixed chorus sings music of many different styles including folk, popular, jazz, sacred/

spiritual, classical and contemporary. It is ongoing with weekly rehearsals Sept-June. The chorus
■
gives two full concerts each year and performs at a variety of local events. Music reading skills
■ and/or previous choral experience is helpful, but not required. A $20 lab fee is payable at the first
■

Introduction to Voiceovers—Returns in Winter
Fun, interactive class to get started in Professional Voice Acting, covering some of the many

details of the industry. Receive a professional voice evaluation. This class is taught by a professional
■ voice actor from the voice acting company Voices For All.

Beginning Guitar (minimum 3 students)
■ This course will cover the fundamentals of music, reading music, tuning and playing a guitar,
■
including classical, folk, and popular styles. Students will learn basic chord structures and
transposing from one key to another. By the end of the class, students will be able to play some
■
traditional songs from several countries. Students must provide their own acoustic guitar. A lab
■
fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at the first class. Pre-registration is required. Class runs
■
10 weeks.

This course builds on the skills developed in the prior level and adds more complex

chord structure and melody lines with multiple voices. Students will learn

accompaniment techniques and styles from popular, classic, and flamenco

disciplines. By the end of the class, students will be able to play some
of the compositions by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ferdinando Carulli,
■
and others. Students must provide their own acoustic guitar. A
■
lab fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at the first class. Pre-
■ registration is required. Class runs 10 weeks.

Learn the basic principles of floral design and how to prepare floral arrangements for home,
■ gifts, special occasions or Vocational Training. There will be a $10 material fee at the first class
