This course offers the most current rules and regulations required to be compliant when processing

insurance claims. You will learn how to cross reference the ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS code
■
books to complete the new split line CMS-1500 form. Learn about HIPAA and confidentiality,
■
legal and medical ethics, auditing charts. Understand use of V and E codes, modifiers, and other
■
aspects to help you prepare for the AAPC National Board Exam. Textbook required. Instructor
is a certified coder with experience in the industry.
