Welcome to Medicare is a free class presented by the Contra Costa County Health Insurance
Counselling and Advocacy Program (HICAP). During this two hour class we will review all

the parts of Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare supplement polices. Medicare drug
■
coverage and low-income assistance program that can assist with payment of premiums and
■ lower co-payment our goal is for you to be able to make and informed decision on how to
■
supplement medicare.

TECHNOLOGY CLASSES FOR ACTIVE SENIORS

These technology classes are for active seniors (50 years or older). If space is available, students under
■ 50 years old may enroll in these classes, and pay an additional fee. All classes are instructor-directed,

except for Computer Lab. Be sure to check out all of our Technology Classes for Active Seniors on

Photoshop Elements 6.0 Basics for Active Seniors (Instructor-directed)
■ Learn basic steps on how to use Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, the newest graphic-imaging

software, to learn how to make flyers, business cards, and other print media. This is a great way to
get started on your holiday projects! Class limited to 9 students. Prerequisite: Basic computer
■
skills.
