Ambiguous Use of ‘Heat’
(T16) … heat energy in the wire, / in the element which in turn heats the water, in
the kettle with heat energy…
(T14)… so it’s just a way of distributing the heat energy around the room…
(T12) … I mean if you’re talking about things like a cooker and heat energy you
put your hand in you can feel it’s hot.
(T2) … which then goes to heat due to air resistance and friction …
(T3, spontaneous map) HEAT can cause CONVECTION CURRENTS in fluids,
HEAT travels as IR.
(T27) … so you’re talking about heating things making molecules glide faster
therefore reactions take place faster so again we’re talking about the heat energy
and the movement energy of the molecules.
