Kids
on tour
At last, a holiday your kids will love as much as
you do! And whether you’re travelling with an
inquisitive toddler or an über-cool teenager,
we’ve got just about everything covered.
Our friendly, fully trained staff lay on tons of fun at Base Camp, our free
children’s centre which is a hive of activity from 9am until late. For ages
two to eight it’s all go with a ball pool, soft play area, paddling pool and
netted deck zone along with a host of organised games. Babies from
six months to under two are also welcome at the centre, provided a
parent or guardian stays with them. Older kids get their own space with
free Playstations, and there’s a separate Teen Zone, plus water
volleyball, circus workshops, movies and discos. With flexible 24/7
dining, mealtimes are easily slotted in and there’s a daily kids’ tea at
5.15pm. Plus there are personal appearances and photo opportunities
with Bagpuss and Paddington Bear to look forward to!
When it comes to going ashore, there’s a raft of family-friendly trips to
choose from, with water park and aquarium visits, beach breaks and
pizza making. Got a teen in tow who’s keen to do their own thing
ashore? In peak summer, our Great Escapes trips (escorted by the
Youth Team) mean they and their buddies can hike up Mount Vesuvius
or visit Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona and meet you back on board
later; or the kids can play at Base Camp for a small charge while you
head ashore to explore. Fancy a night out as a couple on board? You
can check your little one into our supervised night nursery that’s open
until 3am (free until midnight), throughout the season. Pure holiday
harmony, with kids prices from just £129 in the Med and £499 in the
Caribbean. See pages 116-117 for details.
