Today we pray for parents and grandparents as they provide love,
experience and patience in all their caring responsibilities. May we
appreciate their commitment to family life.

grow in self-worth and experience genuine love rather than rivalry.

We give thanks for the ways in which the church offers nurture and love to all
who desire them. We pray too for those people who have difficult or sad
experiences of the church and who long to find nurture and love within its
walls.
