Sun 15th
Keep doing everything you learnt from
y
me and were told by me and have heard
or seen me doing. Then the God of peace
be with you. Philippians 4:9
Mon 16th
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.
St Augustine
Tues 17th
Let us pray for all Mothers’ Union programmes that empower families
through education and learning. May we enable many more people to
benefit from the opportunities these programmes provide.
Weds 18th
Let us promote cultural learning that celebrates equality rather than elitism.
May we respect each culture for its unique beauty rather than as a means for
unfair comparisons.
Thurs 19th
May you see what you see through different eyes, hear what you hear with
different ears. May you taste what you have never tasted before, and go
further than yourself. Masai Prayer
Fri 20th
We can read all the books in the world and still not be any wiser. Unless
we are prepared to turn our hearts ever closer to God, then nothing of
any significance will be learnt for eternity.
Sat 21st
Mothers’ Union works in 78 countries, so today let us praise its
growth and progress in sharing Christian values in such a variety of
exciting cultures and places.
