Navy plans to build up to fi ve OPV 80s
in the next few years, and the Colombian
Navy will build one Fassmer OPV 80 at
COTECMAR shipyard in Colombia. In
this latter case Fassmer has been awarded a
contract to supply not only the design but
also technical assistance, logistic support
and a complete material package.
Fassmer is offering various options
for the OPV 80 including a completely
integrated combat system, a stern launch
ramp for high-speed craft, PTI/PTO
propulsion confi guration, and Ice Class,
among others.
More recently, Fassmer has also
introduced a larger OPV design with a
total length of 92m - the Fassmer OPV
90. This larger vessel is being offered
