hyaline: adj.Gk. hyalos = glassy.
Hyaline cartilage (HY-al-ine) a type of CT that contains chondrocytes H
embedded w/n lacunae, both of which are surrounded by a dense,
semitranslucent matrix of collagen fibers & glycosaminoglycans.

Hyaline cartilage is found in: tracheal and bronchial walls, the costal J
cartilages, the nose, the endos of all syovial joints and the larynx.
