Vessel | LAUNCH & DELIVERY First Admiral yacht launched

T e fi rst 54m yacht built by Admiral Mariotti Yachts (AMY) was recently launched at a lavish ceremony.

CNL and T Mariotti, of Genoa, took place in July. Established in October 2005, this is the fi rst megayacht delivered under the Admiral brand. During the delivery ceremony, AMY also announced a new contract for a 54m ship, to be built for a Middle-Eastern shipowner. Sea Force One – an Admiral 54 – was designed by Luca Dini Design, and is claimed to be a unique vessel. Created to accommodate 10 passengers in fi ve cabins, and up to 12 crew members, the yacht measures 54m in length, is 10.50m wide, and expands over four decks. T e stern is organised in such a way that

when the deck is open it becomes a ‘terrace’ over the sea. Tenders and waterjets here reside in a side-accessed garage. T e main deck – where the hall and owner’s cabin are located – is decorated with doors equipped with platforms with hydraulic opening which lower down to create real balconies. One is at the level of the main hall and due to a royal staircase that connects it to the water, it

becomes an access way for guests. A sundeck is a large area with jacuzzi and sushi bar, and the upper deck hosts a wide dining room that can accommodate up to 30 people, as well as a gym. Particular attention has been paid to the comfort of guests via stringent standards for soundproofi ng and noise reduction. Two Caterpillar 3516B engines power the

at an economical speed. T e yacht has obtained both the ABS and

RINa certifi cation – the latter awarding a Green Star, which assure compliance with strict environmental regulations, and a Secure Yacht notation. T e Admiral 54 is the fi rst yacht to obtain this new Secure Yacht certifi cation, which assures safety onboard a vessel through the monitoring of areas around the yacht so as to have maximum security, and privacy for guests SBI
