Wera introduces time saving innovation
Wera Werk Hermann Werner GmbH & Co. KG has introduced, what it says is, a
time saving innovation in the screwdriver tool sector.
The new Zyklop ratchet can be changed into a combination of six different tools,
such as a fine-tooth ratchet, flex head ratchet, angle ratchet, nut fix ratchet, power
ratchet, and screwdriver.
Detlef Seyfarth, marketing manager at Wera, commented: “The powerful Zyklop
Wera is not only a simple ratchet, but a tool that combines the advantages of many
ratchet types and
screwdriver tools and
in addition is
unbelievably fast.
This means that many
fields of work involving
screwdriver operations can be covered optimally with the one tool, and the user can
profit in addition from the particularly good transfer of forces. The main advantage lies
in the speed: the Zyklop works three times as fast as conventional ratchets.”
The Zyklop includes a swivelling head, has a predefined lock positions at 0°, 90°,
and 15° (from the 90° position), includes slide switches on each side which allows it
to disengage at any position, has a backlash angle of only 5–6° and features a ball
lock, which allows sockets and accessories to sit firmly in the Zyklop’s ratchet head.
