International Game Technol- ogy has signed an agreement with the Cannery Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, to install IGT’s industry-leading server-based game manage- ment solution. This agree- ment marks continued momentum in the growing adoption of game-to-system (G2S) server-based technol- ogy in the industry world- wide.
“There’s no doubt our

With the combined horsepower of the AVP machine and the industry’s largest game library, the Cannery now has a distinct competitive advantage in using these tools to create a world-class player experience.”
“We’re excited to share the benefits of server-based technology with our players,” said Xavier Walsh, COO of Cannery Resorts. “This innovative technology makes it easier than ever to adjust the floor to keep up with the expectations of our players and to deliver the games - and the experience - they’re looking for at the Cannery. It’s another way to differentiate ourselves from the competition.” IGT’s Tier One package is a lease-based offering that

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has selected Bally Tech- nologies as the preferred vendor to replace their Class 3 Gaming Manage- ment Systems.
OLG and BCLC are working collaboratively on this project, which encom- passes replacement of the Gaming Management Systems in each province to monitor all slot machines at multiple sites within each jurisdiction, as well as numerous slot accounting, player marketing, business intelligence, and media- management solutions. The two provincial Crown cor- porations issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) in December 2009 before selecting Bally as their pre- ferred vendor. “We look forward to final- ising the process and beginning a collaborative relationship that will help us grow and evolve our pro- grams,” said Richard Had- drill, chief executive officer of Bally Technologies. “We are honoured and humbled to have come this far in what has been a very thoughtful and forward- thinking selection process. We realise there is much work to be done in both the contractual process, and, if contracted, the implemen- tation process, but we are committed to being an excellent and responsive partner if we are given that trust.”
Implementation of the Bally system in both provinces is targeted to begin in mid-year of calen- dar 2011, pending regula- tory approvals, and is expected to take more than a year to complete.
