Ainsworth taking the A560 to success
Fuelled by growth in its domestic sector, the global launch of its A560 slot cabinet and the soon to open Las Vegas office, Ainsworth Game Technology is taking 2011 by the horns and holding on tight for what it hopes will be a momentous journey in its relatively short history. Len Ainsworth and Danny Gladstone review the highlights of 2010 and what to look out for in the coming year.

Having founded and overseen the huge global development of Aristo- crat back in the 1950s, there was only one thing for slot legend Len Ainsworth to do; set about launch- ing another global, Australian slot force.

into the American Gaming Associa- tion’s Hall of Fame in 1995 for his work in founding and developing Australian slot giant Aristocrat, where the multi-line bet was first conceived, was also the year that Ainsworth the individual set about developing Ainsworth the company. It is now over a decade and a half since Ainsworth launched a slot manufacturer sharing his own surname; Ainsworth Game Technology. During that time he has since seen it grow from its ultra compet-

itive home market of Australia, where it holds ten per cent of the slot sector, to being a respected player in the international slot sector. Its established offices are numerous in Europe, North America, New Zealand, South Africa, South America and Macau. Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT) is approved to conduct busi- ness in 20 US states and three provinces in Canada whilst having 73 tribal licences across California, Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon and Wisconsin. 2010 was a coming of age with
