Trinity Golf Classic

THE PGA NATIONAL in Palmerstown House hosted the fifth Annual Golf Outing for Trinity in June 2008. In total, 18 teams participated in what turned out to be the closest tournament to date. Matheson Ormsby Prentice were attempting the coveted ‘three in a row’, but had to settle for second place behind newly crowned winners Accenture.

Thanks to the support from the annual Trinity Golf Classic, a number of Sporting Scholarships are offered to full-time students. Benefits include financial assistance, free use of our sports facilities, nutritional workshops and physiological assessment/fitness testing and follow up training.

The Society has over 250 members and plays a minimum of 12 fixtures every year.

As the Centenary approaches, DUGS are very keen to hear from anybody who might have archived information about the Society which would assist in the preparation of a book on their history.

DUGS welcome new members and the revival of interest by lapsed members.
