WHY?
Science impacts all our daily lives yet can still appear mysterious and remote. Why should we be kept in the dark about today’s burning scientific issues?
WHAT?
Science Gallery is a world first. A new type of venue where opinions on white-hot scientific issues collide and you can have your say. A place where ideas meet. It’s been a phenomenal success, with over 70,000 visitors in the first eight months!
HOW?
Through exhibitions, public experiments, challenges, festivals, debates and workshops. Science Gallery is about opening up science and technology to passionate argument.
WHO’S IT FOR?
It’s for everyone who has a view on how science and technology affects their lives. Science Gallery is especially aiming to connect with young adults ages 15 – 25.
WHERE?
In the heart of the city accessible from Pearse Street and the Trinity campus.
HOW MUCH?
Entrance to the Science Gallery will cost nothing, nada, nought, zero.
HOW DO I BECOME AMEMBER?
Log onto the website and sign-up. There are already 3,500 members!

A number of years ago, scientists from Trinity College Dublin including Professor Mike Coey, one of Ireland’s leading scientists, developed a proposal for a new nanoscience research centre which would include an innovative approach in engaging young people in science and technology . And so the Science Gallery was born.
