Grand UK offers
‘mystery’ chance
GRAND UK Holidays, the over-55s specialist, is
using £1 mystery taster tours on coaches to
showcase its products to potential customers.
Tour organisers use the half-day trips to talk
about Grand UK’s cruises, coach tours, website
and history, as well as how to book a holiday.
Pat Slater, one of the tour organisers, said:
“We take them out to places such as garden
centres, which are very popular at this time of
the year as they’re looking festive. We hold a
raffle too, with prizes donated by the agent and
money-off vouchers from Grand UK.”
About 85% of Grand UK’s business comes
through agents, who can host the tours free of
charge. Harold Burke, sales director at Grand UK,
said: “These annual promotions are always Getty
