UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Here’s a quick-round up of what will be filling the factories of
various European suppliers this winter…
ABC Engineering
Following successful installations in London (pictured) and Hamburg, the Swiss
manufacturer ABC is to supply a freefall tower to Merlin Entertainments’
Edinburgh Dungeon. A similar ride, but with a very different theme, will
go to Hunderfossen near Lillehammer in Norway.
In fact, ABC has quite a bit of work for next season in Scandinavia. Konge
Parken in Stavanger, another Norwegian park, will install an interactive boat
ride, while Djurs Sommerland in Denmark is in line for a children’s flume
ride. A mini flume will also go to Sea Life Weymouth, England, as part of its
continued outdoor expansion.
Meanwhile ABC has recently shipped its first ever ride to China. The Tilt Tower
attraction is destined for the same shopping mall project in Qingdao as the
Vekoma family coaster mentioned elsewhere on this page.
