Huss Soars
Huss Park Attractions has sold its first Flying Theatre rides. The new media-
based attractions are a radical departure for Huss, which has partnered
with Hollywood-based production company Super 78 to produce a
dedicated ride film.
Based on a similar concept to Disney’s “Soaring” attractions, the Flying
Theatre was originally proposed in 2005. Two versions of the attraction
are scheduled to open, in summer and autumn next year, both in China.
Each will feature three 30-seater passenger-carrying units that will move in
synchronisation with a 3D film. Using the same lifting arm utilised on the
Huss Fly Away, the seats will switch from a horizontal to vertical position
during the ride.
The experience will last between five and six minutes. As well as Super
78, Huss is also working with Electrosonic, which will provide the AV,
projection and show control elements.
