cricket, is it? Well
actually in this
case it is, as on
the cover we fi nd
the duo robed in traditional county attire,
and on CD1 we see them entering textbook
territory.
Smith’s groove-laden journey buoyantly
surfs the US/European house divide,
dictating a wonderfully smooth transition of
mood. Priestley’s bubbly Balearic disco and
playful punk-funk motion morphs
wonderfully into a more soul-tinged,
cadenced house sound as it progresses.
Both mixes are beautifully designed, and
their twinning of old and new incredibly
accomplished — De Crecy and Zdar's ‘Ezio’
never sounded so good.
