Opera lovers will be interested in some upcoming, gay-run
excursions to Italy’s Lake Ledro and the opera house
of Verona. The package includes accommodation at a
lakeside hotel overlooking Lake Ledro (nestled in the hills
above Lake Garda), plus coach trips to see Aida (20 June)

BEARS ON ICE
The fourth Bears On Ice festival is due to hit Reykjavik
in Iceland on the weekend 11-14 September 2008. This
eccentric little festival is probably the northernmost bear
celebration in the world, and attracts a small number of
bears from both the States and Europe. The weekend will
include a trip to the famous geothermal Blue Lagoon, a
whale watching excursion, plus Friday and Saturday night
