Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment, the longest established independent employment services company in South & West Wales, has recently acquired Carmarthen-based recruitment business, Staffline.



The deal will establish an active presence for the company in an area of Wales with high employment opportunities.



Commenting on the acquisition, Operations Director at Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment, Neil Wilson, says: “Everything feels right with the decision. Both companies share a desire to deliver high quality staffing solutions and have built a loyal customer base because of this.



“Operationally, this also works with our own growth strategy – which is to open more offices in provincial towns rather than larger cities. This allows us to put local people into local jobs and it gives us a gateway to the West, where there are high employment opportunities,” he added.



Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment has grown significantly over the last three years. Turnover has increased from £6.5 million in 2005 to a forecasted £12 million this year. The growth is due, in part, to investment in specialist divisions of Jentec and Jenesis Scientific.



“By concentrating on these niche markets, opening new offices and refining our business models, we plan to continue this growth by 40 – 50% year-on-year,” says Neil Wilson.
