jewellery looks good enough to eat. but this ‘sweet shop’ is
as far from the high street as it gets. Diverse Workshop is a
jewellery workshop where beautifully bespoke, original
creations are made by young designers, fresh from art school.

to see your jewellery being made and our customers get a real
sense of the design process,” says Kaz, who set up the workshop
in 2002 with two friends. “We’re happy for people to browse and
see us working away – it adds to the whole experience.”
And it’s not just the workshop that’s interactive, Kaz’s resin
necklaces, rings and bangles are too. held together with
magnets, they tempt the wearer to pull them apart and build
back together, creating a whole new look.
Alongside Kaz’s kitsch creations, hannah Louise Lamb’s hand-
pierced stencil effect brooches are feminine and delicate
statement pieces. striking, sparkly stones set in silver rings
and cufflinks are Lorna hewitt’s speciality while Donna barry
fashions sheets of silver into petals to create stunning floral
necklaces – perfect for wedding jewellery.
