The best gift Grant ever received was unwrapped when he was
seven - his first portable cassette player, with microphone. But
if money was no object a family holiday to Florida would top
his wish list…
How are you spending Christmas this year?
With the whole family at Prestonfield, it’ll be magical.
What would be your perfect Christmas?
I’d love to go away with the family to a small isolated cottage

What’s your earliest Christmas childhood memory?

woke me up telling me Santa had been. I was all excited…until
I found out he’d swapped the tag on my main present so he
could have it. He thought he wouldn’t get caught seeing as
Santa was long gone by this time.

any unusual Christmas traditions in your house?

which, in our house, is tradition. I get teased for weeks.
What would be your perfect Christmas?
I’d love to rent a traditional chalet in Austria or Switzerland with

I’ve loved everything my children have either made me when
they were young or bought me as they have got older.
